When your Amadeus comes along, will you be listening?

I have finally finished and published my newest and first completely self-published book, How a King is Made! To say that self-publishing was easy would be a stretch but in actuality, it wasn’t that hard. You just have to be willing to learn, make mistakes, try again, and have very thick skin. Other writers and editors who read your work have no compunction whatsoever in telling you how bad you are at this when you are trying to do it on your own!
In the spring of 2021, a revolution was going on in my head. I am calling it the “Bockman-assance” or aka, the renaissance period of my life. It wasn’t a mid-life crisis but more of an awakening. My business was going well considering the rising cost of materials and fuel and the virtually nonexistence of employees. I had been chasing the relentless side of decisive businesses success for so long I felt that I was missing out on what life really had to offer. The true purposeful and meaningful side of my life. After many conversations with God and countless walks here at the ranch with my wife discussing our future, I decided to open up my laptop and pour out of my head a concept that had been burning in my mind. How do actual Kings get made?
I am the kind of guy that has no tolerance for things just happening for people. The concept of luck, good fortune, and being at the right place at the right time seems to be a fluid and vexing concept. King-like success in business, career, family, health, and sex cannot be left to the Gods of luck or the Goddess Fortuna. There has to be a catalyst, a drive for action, and a plan for an end-game when we see these men of great power. Men who start vast empires and create incredible fortunes for themselves, all have to have a moment in their lives that drives them to do what other men are not willing to do.
From business to professional sports, to the man that is leading his household, there is a certain thread of character in particular men to outshine the rest when it comes to getting the greatest and most opulent things in life that this world has to offer. These me are the Kings. The Kings of business, the Kings of sports, the King of their home.
When we contrast the old world renaissance period of the aristocratic royals of the 16th – 17th century England and France, we can see that many of the same traits of becoming a King back then transcend to our modern-day when it comes to success. The primitive side of our brains to become successful, ascend to unmatched power, and have a lot of great sex has not changed in over 500 years. Today’s Kingmaking is not all that different than it was back in the old monarchies. The only real difference is that a modern King is now self-made by his actions to be the very best in the world at what he does.
Gene Simons of the rock band Kiss once said, “When your Amadeus comes along, will you be listening?” If you don’t know what that means, he is basically saying that when a genius comes along in your time, will you be listening to what he’s saying. It’s a play on the name Wolfgang “Amadeus” Mozart as a genius that revolutionized music in his time.
For the last 10 years, I have been listening and now, I have been learning. For the last 6 months, I woke up at 3:00 am every single day and worked on this book to show you how a King is made. To sum it up, I borrow from Machiavelli when he said,
“Examining their actions and lives one cannot see that they owned anthing to fortune beyond opportunity, he who relied least on fortune is established the strongest.”
I guarantee this book has content that you have never heard before and once you have read it, it will change your life!
